A client has the following issue:
They changed a user from reitred to network.
They set a new password and checked "use windows authentification".
they selected the correct windows user.
they went to the client and opened slx.
SlX asked for credentials.
They entered them.
After closing slx and re-opening it, they get an error "authentification error". They click OK and the username and password are prefilled.
They just press OK and the clients opens up correctly.
They unchecked "use windows authentification" to see wht happens.
They are normally prompted for username and password.
They deleted the registrykey under hkcurrentuser\software\saleslogix (complete key).
They checked "use windows authentification" again.
Any idea what can cause this?

NO.. but Windows Authentication in SLX Windows/LAN depends on several things:
USERINFO.USEWINDOWSAUTH set to T
USERINFO.WINDOWSSID having the correct SID for the currrent logged in windows user

I checked this. user has useWindowsauthentification set to true in DB and also the SiD is in there.
What we also did is unchecked the checkbox. The record in the database was updated and the SID was removed.
Then we checked the box again and re-maped the user. The record was updated again. But still it is not working.
Any idea what else can block this function?
could it be something in the user profile?
