Have three servers: App / database, Web Server and Web Reporting. The webserver and web reporting server is published to the external public IP.
During the switchover to new IP addresses time what items should I test to make sure that everything is working properly afterwards? Any items I should expect to break?
- DB
- web Server
- Web Reporting
- Firewall
- DNS
This is more of a list to doublecheck my thinking on the changeover...

I am not aware that SLX uses IP addresses to connect to each other.
The web reporting server is linked to slx using a name or perhaps an IP address.
You define this in the saleslogix portal.
Look if you have defined an ip address or the external name of the server.
The connection from slx to sql is not ip based.
Just check your firewall rules if they still match.
Test the web client internally with web reporting and do an external test.
Are you changing internal or external ip addresses?
AS said, normally slx only uses names to connect and no ip addresses.
If you have defined DNS entires to map ip addresses to names, check if you need to update them.
Hope this helps!
