SLX Mobile Windows issue in Canada

We recently started deploying the SLX Mobile client to our users with a Samsung Jack running WinMo 6.1. Three different users have reported after deploying and installing the SLX client, the phone no longer works. It will dial and connect, but neither party can hear the other. Performing a master reset on the phone resolves the issue. One user even got a new phone from the carrier and the same thing happened after installing SLX Mobile. We do have several successful deployments to the same type of phone, but the big difference is the carrier-all the ones that have issues are using Canadian based Rogers, while the successes use AT&T in the US. Has anyone seen this issue or think of any reason why the mobile client or its dependencies would have this affect? Is there any file or setting we should check after deploying the client?
