SLX 8 Web Server in DMZ

I have everything running fine for a new install with the web server in a DMZ...except ATTACHMENTS and SPEEDSEARCH.

I have the path for the Documents and Library files set to \\SLXAPPSERVER\Files\Library and \\SLXAPPSERVER\Files\Documents.

This path works using the Network Client on the WEB server, but when I try to add a file via the Web client, I get the error

"Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.\

Also, Speedsearch runs fine with the Network Client on the Web server in the DMZ, but I get this message when trying to run Speedsearch on the Web Client.

The search returned with 19 error(s). $E 0001 Unable to access index \\SLXAPPSERVER\SpeedSearch\SALESLOGIX\Data\Collections\Opportunity Operation failed: open (could not open directory) path=\\SLXAPPSERVER\SpeedSearch\SALESLOGIX\Data\Collections\Opportunity (error = Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. (1326)) $E 0001 Unable to access index

Like I said, SDATA, Mobile, everything else is fine.

What am I missing?

Re: SLX 8 Web Server in DMZ

Check that you Application pool user gas access to the shared path.

(I.e. WebDLL)

Hope this helps
