Hi,
I am doing a 6.2 LAN to 8.1 Web upgrade.
I tried to login to the web client but I am getting this error:
Value cannot be null.\r\nParameter name: key.
Any idea where this comes from and how to resolve it.
I get it regardless of the page I try to go to.
Thanks! Alexander

OK, with some help I found out that the error was, that the appid in systeminfo was null.
Also the appidmapping table had no record.
As this is a test upgrade I interset the record from the eval db.
What is the apropriate way to solve this and why is this table empty?
Thanks! Alexander

I just ran into this issue as well. There was confusion with the database in question. It was 7.5.3. There were 8.0 bundles applied at some point including 7.5.x to 8.0. but something may have been missed.
The value for sysyteminfo.appid is QSYST0000000. Is there something in one of the sxb bundles that sets this?
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm having the same issue. I'm upgrading from SLX 7.5.3 HF03 to SLX 8.1. The LAN Bundle for 7.5.4 creates the "SYSTEMINFO.APPID" field, but does not populate it. I ran the Conversion utility and followed the steps in the guide to apply the 7.5 SP4.
I could see that the APPID value is different on every SLX database. I'm afraid that, if I set the APPID with value of the Eval DB (QSYST0000000), it could cause problems.
How can we set the APPID correctly?
