Read committed snapshot isolation

We are seeing a lot of deadlocks when we realign accounts at the same time an integration of ours runs. I was wondering if anyone has played with Read committed snapshot isolation and SLX. I just set this up in our testing environments and so far so good. But before we got too far I wanted to know if anyone has found any issues with SLX while using this.

We are on wondows 2008, SQL 2008, SLX 7.5.4

Re: Read committed snapshot isolation

Read committed snapshot isolation is costlier, and used in cases where you need to manage row version.

These row versions are stored in tempdb, so you are going to increase your disk cost.

DML operations will take longer also, resulting from maintaining row versions.

But if you have a lot of read/write blocks, this is the way to go, generally speaking.

Here's a good article describing in more detail.
