Re: Office 2013 Home and Business Edition (x32) - Saleslogix v8.0

The compat guide also says "Microsoft Office 365 is not supported for the Saleslogix Windows Client" - which isn't strictly true. The issue is the click to run version (CTR). The full version (which can run with office 365 of course) would work fine (hosted or hybrid). The CTR version is home/business/student editions. Basically, any version that isn't the full version and can only be stream installed.

The June Compatibility guide does, indeed [Thanks Tim], say this is fixed. However, you need to locate the document/files from KB 1408965059 (as per compat guide). This is a set of registry fixes that enables this version to work (I've passed on the files to our customer and will report back if it works). Good news if it does !

Re: Office 2013 Home and Business Edition (x32) - Saleslogix v8.0

Has there been any resolution to this problem?  I have had the same issue trying to run mail merge.  In addtiion, any attempts to create a new template completely crashes Saleslogix.  (Running Windows 7 64-bit, Office 2013 Home and Business 32-bit on SalesLogix v8.0.0.8734)  I am not in a position to change my version of Office.

Re: Office 2013 Home and Business Edition (x32) - Saleslogix v8.0

I apologize for my inexperience.  Prior to my original post, I tried researching the knowledge base but I wasn't able to find the KB article #1408965059 anywhere online so I thought I misunderstood your post.  Any suggestions on where to go to find the article and fix this frustrating problem once an for all?

Yes, unfortunately, that document is marked internal only for some reason.

Best speak to your BP (or, if you are a BP, your account manager) to see if you can get them from Swiftpage direct.

They are four registry changes and, frankly, not top secret but - hopefully - Mike Cessna (swiftpage employee) will see this and post them up here for others. I can't do it myself I'm afraid.
