New Install v8.x on brand new server

Colleague was on site today and received this error:

"Unable to locate assembly Sage.Platform in path 'c:\program files (x86)\SalesLogix' or it's subdirectories (Sage.Platform.Orm.Codegen)"

Thanks to Beck Blackburn (and John Perona plus others) the fix is in the build path:

After installation of v8.0, the Build Search path is gets set to this:

%BASEBUILDPATH%\assemblies;%BASEBUILDPATH%\interfaces\bin;%BASEBUILDPATH%\forminterfaces\bin

(This is the cause of the issue)

The path should be:

%BASESAGEINSTALLPATH%\SalesLogix;%BASESAGEINSTALLPATH%\Platform;%BASESAGEINSTALLPATH%\SupportFiles;%BASESAGEINSTALLPATH%

I am getting the same error - i have changed the Build Search Path accordingly, cleaned build folders and restarted the App Architect but i am still getting the same error.

Did you need to amend any of the other Build Settings?

Is it saying it's missing a dll ? That needs to be copied from anywhere else you can find it. Sorry, don't know which one.

I've checked and sage.platform.orm.codegen.dll does exist in c:\program files (x86)\SalesLogix\Platform

If you go to a cmd prompt and type "SET" - do you have that as an environment variable ?
