How do you secure your users from going to the address bar and connecting to the database server and deleting the log files. Example: We have a shared folder on the database server called slx logs that has the Archives,documents,library,sharedlogs,WGlogs in it. Is there a way to give saleslogix access to this folder so the user can access attachments, mailmerges, ect.. only in saleslogix and not by browsing to the folder and deleting all the contents (disgruntled employee). The security on the folder now is administrators (slxdatabaseserver\administrators), Creator owner, Domain users, everyone, system, Users(slxdatabase users).
