If you have Automatic Update turned on:
" Users of Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1), and 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 will receive Internet Explorer 10 as an important update if they have Automatic Updates enabled, or if they perform a manual scan for updates on Windows Update."
NOTE: installations which use "WSUS" - Windows Server Update Services" and control the updates to their installations can easily block this. For individual PC's NOT being managed by WSUS (most of us ;-) there is a "blocker kit"

Will there be a hot fix or update to address this for 7.5.4? If so, when can we expect to see that?

You missed it ! Was released over weekend (Web Update 02). However, was pulled again so re-awaiting that. This provides support for IE10. • Compatibility of SalesLogix v8.0 for Windows 8 (Desktop), IE 10 (Desktop), and Microsoft Server 2012 • Resolves the styling issues for 3rd party integrations (such as SSAA and VA) • Addresses translation/localization issues • Improved stability under heave load • Note: It requires .net v4.5 - the link to download is in the documentation
Actually, just noticed - this is for v8.0 only. v7.5.4 I'm unsure about.

I wouldn't expect an update to 754 for IE10... but then you never know..
You could submit a "feature request" to SalesLogix.. or just post Idealogix.
