How to block Users from Accidentally Downloading IE9

IE9 might be great - but it causes issues for SalesLogix users unless you are up on 7.5.4. For example, "merge" is a problem (as was posted about in this thread:

http://community.sagesaleslogix.com/t5/Customer-Experience/Internet-Explorer-9-Crashes-SLX-7-5-2-whe... )

If you are using a Windows Update server, you can (and probably do) control the updates. For others, it's a "direct" update issue. So to handle this, Microsoft has released a "blocker" that will remove IE9 from the "Important List" - Internet Explorer 9 Blocker Toolkit.

NOTE: This will remove it from the “important update(s)” and leave it as optional but not prevent users from obtaining (or installing) “manually”. To do this, you will have to use “policies”.
