Desktop Manager error on terminal server 2008 R2 teminal server / Citrix running SLX 7.5.4.7048

 

We have the following scenario on a new Windows 2008 R2 Terminal server when multiple users are running Saleslogix Desktop Manager.

 

User1 and User2 are standard domain users
User 3 belongs to local Administrator group on Citrix server.
 
If User1 is the only user logged in to the Windows 2008 R2 terminal server and running the SalesLogix Desktop Integration then it runs without any issue.
If Useris the only user logged in to the Windows 2008 R2 terminal  server and running the SalesLogix Desktop Integration then it runs without any issue.
 
If User1 is logged into Windows 2008 R2 terminal server and running SalesLogix with Desktop Integration and then User2 logs in and try to run the  SalesLogix Desktop Integration will get the following pop up error.
 
Sage SalesLogix Desktop Manager has stopped working

It  also get registered on the terminal server with EventID 1001 in the Application log
  

If User1 is logged into Windows 2008 R2 terminal server and running SalesLogix Desktop Integration and then User3  or any users who belongs to local Administrator group can run the SalesLogix Desktop Integration without any problem.

 

The Saleslogix desktop integration on a Windows 2003 (32bit) terminal server works without any issues for multiple standard users but not on Windows 2008 R2 Terminal server.
 
Can you please post any solutions to this if you have already came across it .

Update

Tried the following solution as suggested but did not solve the issue

 

change user /install

SlxDesktopIntegrationSetup.exe /s /v"/qn INSTALLDIR=\"C:\SLXDesktop\""

REGEDIT.EXE "Desktop Integration - Terminal Server x64 Install.reg"

DesktopReg.exe C:\SLXDesktop\

change user /execute

 

The DesktopReg.exe utility is designed to register the following Sage SalesLogix Desktop Integration modules for HKEY_CURRENT_USER, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, and Terminal Server (Remote Desktop).

I think the issue is Web Update 04 needs to be installed - plus the others, and you need to do the process I sent you.

Thank you very much for your help. The issue is resolved now with v7.5.4.7117 of SLXDesktopManager.exe,  web update and the previous registry fixes you provided that's listed in my last posting.

 

Please be aware that v7.5.4.7117 of SLXDesktopManager.exe really exist and you need it to fix this issue. Thanks to Mike!!
