Crystal Reports - cannot launch after upgrading SNC from V7.2 to V8

Hi,

 

Last night we upgraded our SLx network clients to Version 8 (plus all the applicable updates to no 10 + the x64 SQL Server 2008R2 Native Client).

 

 

We have found we cannot launch Crystal Reports application from the Start Menu (the viewer component adn reports inside SLx works).

 

Should we uninstall Crystal (which is from the second DVD from V7.2) and install the one from the second DVD from V8 package?

When you install the Saleslogix client app.. it automatically installs the CR runtime. So if you HAD CR pro installed to do CR development then you have to RE-install CR pro after. - It's NOT a SLX issue - it's a CR issue.

Hi,

 

Thanks for the reply.

I've uninstalled the previous version (that was from our V7.2 DVD set) and uninstalled all the updates for it.

Reinstalled from the V8.0 DVD seet and applied SP6 update.

 

However for some reason it's stopped people in SLx from choosing "Current Page" (and page no is no longer filled in) when choosing to print reports.

 

Printers are auto redirects for Windows 2008 Server (we are running a Terminal Server environemnt).
