Citrix, frozen in start screen after login

Hi,

Saleslogix 7.5.3.4233 and Citrix XenDesktop 7.1 in Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

Randomly when a user logon into the aplication with SLX authentication the start screen frozen. Really saleslogix is running and if you start session again the windows of saleslogix is running.

Any idea?,

Is it possible disable the start screen?.

Thank yu very much.

Re: Citrix, frozen in start screen after login

Yes, you can use the /BYPASSNTLOGIN switch - this bypasses AD authentication. Or, you can remove it per user in Admin.

Re: Citrix, frozen in start screen after login

Go into Admin, Go to users, pull up the user(s) and on the screen toward top there is an option to tick/untick called "Use Windows Authentication". If you untick, it will revert to normal username/password prompt.

Re: Citrix, frozen in start screen after login

Then the issue is not authentication as you thought it was. Use SLXProfiler to examine what is going on and what the delay is.
